Check Out Kotaku’s Favourite Indies

A while ago, IGN used to maintain a list on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace which included a bunch of games that they thought were worth checking out.

I say they maintained it, but what actually happened was that it was updated about twice in a year and at one point just contained a list of awful games that happened to be released recently.

That list was (rightly) dropped and has now been replaced with a list that Kotaku will curate. Hopefully, they’ll do a better job of it, even though their coverage has traditionally only focussed on the rubbish that is often released, for the sake of humour.

Their initial list is promising, though, and consists of the following games:

Aban Hawkins and the 1000 Spikes
Cthulhu Saves the World
Platformance: Castle Pain
radiangames Ballistic
Rotor
Shoot 1UP
Zombie Football Carnage
龍炎高校伝説

It won’t do much to help the state of the Games Marketplace, but it’s better than nothing.
