Inertia! Wins at DICE Awards

Inertia! has won a number of Indie Game Challenge awards at the 2011 DICE Summit, including best non-professional game, walking away with prizes worth almost $150,000, GameSpot reports.

As well as the best non-professional Indie game, it also won awards for achievement in gameplay, technical achievement and the Gamers’ Choice award.

Inertia! is a 2D puzzle-platformer which gives the player control of gravity, allowing them to switch it on and off at will. See a really high platform? Simply jump, switch the gravity off and you’ll continue to rise until you turn it back on.

Or hit the roof.

It’s a unique take on the 2D platformer, and deserving of the recognition these awards bestow upon it.
