Avatar Ragdolls Brings the Pain

Avatar Ragdolls, Running Pixel’s latest game, has been released and will set you back 80 Microsoft Points. Unfortunately, I just can’t recommend a game that puts my avatar in this position.

The game itself is a vertical climber of the type iOS developers are so fond, yet which are comparatively rare on Xbox LIVE Indie Games.

In it, you use the left stick and the A button to throw your avatar higher and higher, until you’re caught by some water (maybe) which slowly chases you up the chasm. Slowly, slowly, so slowly that it’s almost impossible to lose.

The controls, too, aren’t the best. The A button thrust mechanic takes a few seconds to charge, it seems, but there’s no on-screen indicator to suggest that this is happening so it just feels like the controls aren’t working.
